With a 6-week deadline to meet an integral changeover in ERP, and in time for the seasonal peak in visitors, bathstore required a new B2C eCommerce store that could be developed quickly and efficiently.


The introduction to Peracto provided the flexibility to support essential third party integrations, including into Homebase’s SAP ERP which allowed for real time stock information and order placement.

Further integrations included DataCash payment gateway and Antill CRM for seamless marketing initiatives - connecting their customer data, directly to their new store.

The system was cleverly architected to leverage the power of  Cloud infrastructure, scaling up server resources in real-time to meet peaks in customer activity.

A superior online customer experience was achieved through sophisticated content-led pages, including video tutorials, buyers guides and articles - all offering product linked expert advice, supporting a customer’s onward journey. And, adapting to changes in customer behaviour, customers can easily book a free virtual design consultation without needing to leave their front door.

Optimised for fast and clear mobile experience, the new site was designed and tested across multiple devices to maximise mobile conversions. A powerful attribute to the mobile experience is the intelligent and fast search, powered by Algolia. The search facility unlocks discovery pathways, responding to customers’ intent for better on-site experiences.

The content is empowered by sophisticated merchandising, including a range of high quality imagery and compelling copy that offers inspiration to homeowners - all updatable via enhanced CMS tools. The fixed site search,  ‘Add to basket’ button, clear navigation within a hamburger navbar, singular product and drop-down filter with price range slider all contribute to increased conversations.

The relaunch of was a huge success. Overcoming business challenges and tight deadlines, the new eCommerce store was impressively built and launched within 6-weeks. Packed full of innovative features that enhance the customer experience, the improvements delivered an impressive increase in visits and transactions.
